Code Crafting Week - We Have a Winner!
Almost 100 contestants participated in our first students' Code Crafting Week competition!
During one week, the participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge and skills, but also have fun along the way.
What Did We Prepare for Our Participants?
The competition lasted from December the 3rd to December the 11th and was divided into 3 phases, each challenging in its own way.
Phase #1: Online challenge
We announced the first challenge on December the 3rd at noon. The participants had exactly 3 days to solve the puzzle and send their solutions.
Phase #2: Knockout challenge
Our technical team selected the participants who achieved the best results in the Online challenge and invited them to take part in the next phase that was held in our offices at Novosadskog sajma Street.
The participants had to explore our place and use logic and their knowledge to come up with solutions for 3 new tasks.

Phase #3: Final challenge
The 12 best and fastest Code Crafters challenged their skills and logic on December the 11th in our new offices in Stražilovska street to achieve the main prize - MacBook Pro.
We prepared 10 tasks that made participants think outside of the box and demonstrate all off their strengths.

The Best Code Crafter Won a MacBook Pro
The participant who proved to be the most skilled one and showed the greatest knowledge, proactivity and resourcefulness is Marko Otlokan, from the Faculty of Science on Novi Sad. We are positive that this will be a great motivation for him to continue learning and investing in his growth and development.

The winner of the competition shared his impressions:
“I am very satisfied with the whole competition. I liked the first and the third phase the most because it required us to show both our programming knowledge and logical thinking. I was pleasantly surprised by the positive energy and great mood of the Vega IT people. I would especially like to praise two organisers - Nenad Perčić and Kosta Kuprešak.”
Our Impressions
This has been a phenomenal experience! We are sure that this is not the last time we organise an event like this, because this is a truly unique experience and a great opportunity for students to expand their knowledge.
