As a multi-award-winning digital business transformation consultant with 30 years of experience, he’s highly experienced at helping organisations define and deliver their technology enabled transformation programmes. His vast sector knowledge includes energy, utilities, not-for-profit, sports, media, financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector. The depth and breadth of his understanding on how to deliver technology change that works in-market, not just on paper, is second to none.

Prior to IBM, Richard was a senior partner at Infosys Consulting and Atos Consulting (formerly KPMG Consulting), where he led global business units. He holds a BSc in Applied Chemistry and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management. Outside work – when he’s not with his wife and three wonderful children (twin girls and a boy) – you’ll find him on the squash court or cycling somewhere scenic or mountainous.

Nikola is passionate about delivering real and lasting client impact – through digital innovations that revolutionise what’s possible. He brings twenty years of experience in digital transformation for the world’s leading consultancies, including ThoughtWorks, BearingPoint, Accenture, Capco, and Atos.

He has led both advisory and strategy projects, as well as leading the delivery of new customer journeys, operating models, digital products, platforms, data, AI, system integration solutions, and large scale transformations. Nikola’s deep sector knowledge spans healthcare, utilities, defense, policing, financial services, sport, travel, and media. As an experienced executive, he knows high impact results are reached through close client partnerships from the top down and bottom up.

He works very effectively with C-level, management and delivery stakeholders – all the way through from big picture strategy to the operational details of change and delivery. His work in digital strategy is highly commended by the UK Management Consultancies Association, and Nikola was named one of the top digital consultants in the UK. He holds an MEng in System Engineering from the University of Manchester, an MSc in International Business from Manchester Business School, and has completed a year long Executive Education at HEC Paris. Outside work, he loves sailing and skiing with his wife and two energetic sons.
