The Growth Manager is responsible for driving Vega IT’s growth in the global market by acquiring new clients. This role involves market research, lead generation and end-to-end sales process management. Additionally, you will be establishing relationships with key decision-makers, supporting sales activities, and contributing to the global sales goals.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Developing leads, building new client relationships, cultivating a targeted list of prospects, and generating qualified sales opportunities.
- Conducting sales presentations and negotiations.
- Managing the end-to-end sales process to bring new clients on board.
- Building internal relationships and collaborating with the broader Vega IT team to formulate and execute a successful business development approach.
- Understanding the competitive landscape and client needs to position Vega IT services effectively.
- Staying up to date with market trends, Vega IT service portfolio updates, and competitors.
- Identifying and influencing key decision-makers at all levels within the client organization.
- Representing Vega IT at conferences, user events, and industry forums.
- Maintaining accurate and timely customer information, pipeline, and forecast data using Apollo and Salesforce.
Qualifications include:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of business development & sales experience and a successful track record in building a strong client portfolio in the IT industry. The candidate will understand how to develop a business development strategy and approach that targets the Financial Services, HealthTech, EdTech, and Retail sectors. The candidate should also possess a client-obsessed attitude with the ability to develop into a trusted advisor – this can be achieved by cultivating the necessary domain knowledge within Vega IT’s target verticals.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Growth manager serving clients in the IT industry across the global market.
- Proficiency in English at the C1 level (both written and spoken).
- A proven track record of successfully achieving and exceeding Business Development and Sales goals that are reflected in the number of qualified leads generated and opportunities closed.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by a genuine desire to deliver results.
- Ability to develop and maintain new relationships with buyers, decision-makers, influencers, and other referral sources.
- Ability to travel to business events, depending on the work you do, clients, and industries/sectors you serve.
- Based in Belgrade or Novi Sad.
