What should you know before applying?

The internship is an essential part of an engineer's career. It is an excellent opportunity to enter the IT world, a very dynamic place where learning continues. During the internship which lasts three weeks, interns are working alone on tasks that simulate real-life ones. With a help of a mentor, they are able to acquire the experience they usually don’t have a chance to gain at college.

Companies that offer such internship programs have standards and expectations from students who engage in the practice. And, Vega IT is one of them.

The goal of this internship is to create high-quality analytical solutions through innovative approaches. As a Data Analytics Intern, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will work on cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing complex datasets, leveraging tools and languages like SQL, Python, and Power BI to build interactive dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This hands-on experience will enhance your technical skills and inspire creative problem-solving through real-world data challenges.

Here is the list of things that Vega IT expects from every person who applies for the internship:

  • Knowledge of SQL and overall relational databases.

  • Knowledgeable in BI tools such as Power BI, with experience in creating interactive dashboards and reports.

  • Solid understanding of data analytics using Python.

  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts, following best practices for transformations and load processes.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, focused on deriving meaningful insights from data.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment, contributing effectively to the team's goals.

  • Proactive attitude with a passion for data analytics and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
