This position is pivotal to the growth and expansion of the UK business of Vega IT. You will work with two ex-management consulting partners who started the UK office in January 2024, as part of a lean, high impact, fun and agile team, developing strong relationships with prospects and clients, and providing oversight during delivery of projects in the UK by Vega IT teams mainly from Serbia, Montenegro and Romania. This will be a sleeves roll-up role, where you will be involved in senior client engagements as well as the administrative work that needs to be undertaken in the office.


The focus of the Business growth manager is on shaping and identifying new business opportunities, driving growth on existing accounts, building and maintaining relationships. Whilst based in the UK, you will also work closely with the Belgrade/Novi Sad based sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and implement plans to expand the company's market presence and achieve the commercial goals.

 

Key responsibilities:

Client relationship management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers
  • Proactive client engagement, solution design and innovation workshops delivery. This will also in part include delivery oversight on key and jointly selected accounts

Sales and account planning:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve business development goals.
  • Develop and implement account plans on focused accounts
  • Sales/Business development and account focus may vary, depending on growth priorities
  • Salesforce CRM reporting, opportunities and account information management

Key responsibilities:

Proposal development:

  • Develop bespoke proposals with the presales, delivery and other team members
  • Proposal/presales process management including pipeline management
  • Pitching to clients of our value offer

Services knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products/services and their positioning in the market.
  • Communicate value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with digital delivery teams and leaders to understand our digital services portfolio, strengths, differentiation and case studies

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of experience covering:
  • Digital business development and/or
  • Digital/client account management and/or
  • Digital agency, technology services or management consulting delivery


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

He holds a BSc in Applied Chemistry and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management. Outside work – when he’s not with his wife and three wonderful children (twin girls and a boy) – you’ll find him on the squash court or cycling somewhere scenic or mountainous.

His work in digital strategy is highly commended by the UK Management Consultancies Association, and Nikola was named one of the top digital consultants in the UK. He holds an MEng in System Engineering from the University of Manchester, an MSc in International Business from Manchester Business School, and has completed a year long Executive Education at HEC Paris. Outside work, he loves sailing and skiing with his wife and two energetic sons.
